The Company

Live Adventurously is about lifestyle cleverly disguised as a company.

It’s about living outside the box. It’s about never missing an opportunity to “get off the couch” that until recently we didn’t bother to own. It’s been about traveling over 300 days a year, sucking the marrow out of life and creating the future that many of us want.

Live Adventurously is about friendships.

It’s about the accidental creation of a tribe of people who love to travel, dive and climb together. It’s about same time next year clubs over Thanksgiving in a warm, tropical place and staying in touch once we’re back from our travels.

Live Adventurously is about SCUBA diving.

It’s about experiencing the magic below the waves and the critters that live there. It’s about the sheer joy of neutral buoyancy, hanging out with the fish and spending hours watching their behavior. It’s about underwater digital photography and videography and watching sharks pass close by.

Live Adventurously is about mountain climbing.

It’s about standing on the top of one of the Seven Summits, seeing the world from the roof and gaining a whole new perspective on life. It’s about the pursuit of dreams and pushing yourself to your physical limits. It’s about being in the most uninhabitable places on Earth if only for a brief time and seeing the beauty that few ever witness.

Live Adventurously is about the world’s people.

It’s about meeting people around the globe and basking in cultural differences. It’s about taking pictures of kids in Malaysia and giving them the photos on the spot. It’s about sitting on the ground with women in Micronesia discussing women’s issues. It’s about sharing cassava with women in Fiji out of a tupperware bowl and drinking kava until your stomach aches.

Live Adventurously is about conservation and giving back.

It’s about giving away your flip flops to a child in Papua New Guinea who owns no shoes. It’s about speaking on ocean conservation to elementary schools in Texas. It’s about sending boxes of books to schools in the South Pacific and buying a copy machine for a village in Fiji.

Live Adventurously is about fun.

Circling the globe and seeing it greatest wonders, diving, climbing and meeting the world’s best people is just plain fun. And why not? Wasn’t it the Dalai Lama who said that the purpose of life is to be happy? Well, this is what makes us happy and this is why we created Live Adventurously.
